Camping at JFK airport in New York
Due to the cancellation of dozens of flights because of the volcano in Iceland, lots of passengers were forced to camp at JFK airport waiting for a plane to take them to their final destinations in Europe. The US army created a base camp with beds, coffee and tea facilities but not everyone fitted in the space so any available corner at the airport become a good place to have a rest.
