Residency at Santa Fe Complex
After few months as artists in residence at the Santa Fe Complex, a centre that brings together scientists, technologists and artists, we presented a digital showcase of the project `Ghosts in Armour´ in May 2012. This immersive exhibition introduced techniques for projection mapping to showcase the work of over 20 European artists.
Unlike previous installations, visitors to the Santa Fe Complex were able to curate their own ‘Ghosts in Armour’ exhibition immersing themselves at any of the locations where the project has previously explored or exhibited at, by utilising a multi-touch table.
The project, which started in 2008, aims to document the tangible traces of industry and preserve the non‐physical elements of industrial heritage; the stories and memories accumulated over several generations in Wales, Basque Country and Ruhr.
